Fuzz: the Furry Police RPG
|
Mary-Sue Malloy was driving like a maniac in pursuit of the Lamborghini.
The wind whistled through the tufts of her fur and she swerved to avoid
oncoming traffic. "Doesn't anybody respect a siren anymore?" she complained
to her partner, Lucy Traversham, whose lupine features were shot with grim
determination.
"Dont worry, Foxy," said Lucy a little curtly, "we'll get that guy. If
only I could get one clear shot at his tires." Lucy had drawn her .44
Special and was taking a bead on the fleeing suspect's right rear tire.
With a grunt, she pulled the trigger and the bullet buried itself harmlessly
in the tire. "WHAT?"
"Solid rubber tires." Mary-Sue pointed out. "With steel reinforcement and
nothing to deflate. Damn, this bastard's good! And just look at him drive!
Who is this guy anyway?"
"Want backup?"
"Like hell! So far all he's done is speed and evade pursuit. If I call for
backup and he's anything less than a bank robber, I'll look like an idiot!"
"But he's going faster than we can!"
"You're underestimating this baby of mine, Lucy! Watch this!" Mary-Sue
jammed her foot on the accelerator, shifted to the highest gear and the
car shot forward. Within seconds they were beside the Lamborghini and
Lucy had her pistol aimed at the drivers head.
Lucy smiled. "OK, buddy...NOW are you going to give me your license and registration?"
